Difference between the D and XP series help

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a pair of smaller formatted batteries for my build. I had a pair of D6500's but they just wouldn't fit the design and the car. So I need smaller ones.

I tried searching a little bit, but I can't seem to locate a specific comparison between the XP and the D series. I'm looking at the D975 or the XP950. Can someone tell me the differences between the two to clear things up before I buy?

Everything I'm running is in my signature, and I'm not competing as of yet, but it's possible in the future. This is just my daily driver. But I also would like the ability to do demos if the need arises.

Sorry Admins in advance, if this is considered a "VS" thread, I wasn't intending it that way, I just would like to clear up the differences before I buy.

Thanks

D series = very fast current release.

XP series = extended current draw.
