Amp For A Blt 18

What would be a good amp for a Fi BTL 18". IT would be just for daily use not competitions.

I would spend up to $800 or so. I'm afraid to get a cheap amp because I want to make sure it gets more than enough power. Any Ideas?

I bet there are topics for this but I can't search for more than 3 characters.

I'm selling my USAmps MD3D that I'm using on my BTL 18. Wangs reaal good, the amp puts out around 2800 watts at 1 ohm.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

Try a Rockford Fosgate T2001BD....

Are you running stock electricals?

X2!!!

But If you get this amp, watch out some put out more power at 2ohm than 1ohm, which is a good thing, but jus watch out for it when buying the sub so you can get the right coils and get the most out of that amp...

hey dude i got a US Amps 2000x for sale in the for sale thread. i had it on my re mt 18 and shook my tahoe to hell.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
