min
Ok to be honest im new to this, I just got a Kicker CVR 15" for my 2002 Chevy Silverado Single-Cab, and I need a box built to hold a single 15. I'm 6'1 so I need me space on the driver side, but will move the passenger side seat up. Can anyone help, give a diagram? something.
Torres
we'd need the max dimensions of the space you have to work with. that way we can adjust measurements accordingly and still give the sub the correct amount of airspace
min
How would I do that? go outside with a ruler? and go height etc..
dwright27
max dimensions of the space you have to work with. depending on your vehicle, if its a trunk car measure how big your trunk opening is and that way youll know what the biggest you can go to fit it in the trunk can be, and then take the max height, width, and length you can do. pretty simple, but alot of people over think it. Torres
no ruler. use a measuring tape. the length (from the driver side wall to your passenger side wall), the heighth (top to bottom), and depth (back of your truck to front). just remember to write down the MAX dimensions you are willing to work with. if your overall length is 40 inches, but you can only use or want to use 30 of those inches, then write 30 since that's what we have to work with. being a single cab...you'll have a lot of length, maybe about half that for the heighth, and not so much depth. but we'll see what we can work out
dwright27
you should be right around 56" long. 12" - 14" high, and 3 inches at the top deep with like 7 or 8 inches deep at the bottom.
