Mobileaudio25 Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 Does anyone know what type of power it puts out at .5 ohm?? I'm looking into one because I'm really short on power right now. Also what type of electrical would I need to power it? I have 3 deka group 34 batteries and a 180 amp alt. ri know I'm gonna need to upgrade
CleanSierra Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 4300 Watts, with proper voltage Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Mobileaudio25 Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 I'm running 2 dual 2 ohm woofers :/ I was originally running 2 amps strapped
CleanSierra Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 why cant you just wire it to 1 ohmI feel like lately its less important to give a full answer it the right answer. I feel line they just want an answer, even under advisementthat they shouldn't or it isn't recommended for many. Im just gonna start giving the answer with no explanation Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 If your box is crazy efficient, you'll get close to the number I mentioned, if not, you won't. Voltage drop and imp rise, you'll.see that 3500 that you bought the amp for in the first place. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Mobileaudio25 Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 I'm most likely going to be forced to run 2 smaller amps. I don't feel comfortable running that much power to my woofers nor do I prefer running amps at .5 ohm
Mobileaudio25 Posted March 26, 2013 Author Report Posted March 26, 2013 Idk about crazy efficient, but the box is definitely assembled perfectly and to perfect specs. It's gets pretty loud for a trunk car . I'd say between a 142-143.5 currently on 2400w rms.... But I know my speakers want around 3500 rms not to be hungry ... Or somewhere in the ballpark . I had ram designs do my box. 4.5 cuft at 36 hz
CleanSierra Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 4.5 for 2 12" subs, that's some good airspace. Which subs are you running? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
