russtezecustoms Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Back in the day they used to half fill the doors and quarter pannels with real concrete. Im not sure if there were any benifits or not but the stuff was obviously heavy soo...... I just wish i had a funny sig.
bradentonguy Posted April 24, 2013 Author Report Posted April 24, 2013 the concrete sounds like fun but the vehicle only makes 83 horsepower so idk about that.
john253a Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 If you don't plane on using any of the windows or that Just use expansion fome or gap filler In every panel You can get a few different type If you plane on using the car latter on Put garbage bags inside the panel and fill them That way it's easy to get out latter on
SnowDrifter Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 With the bags: get some 2 part expanding foam. It cures chemically vs. the stuff in the can needs air to cure. It won't be getting much air in a plastic bag lol ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
