In a ported box: playing below tuning results in a loss of backpressure against the sub - called unloading. Without this back-pressure to control the mechanical movement of the driver: it starts moving a ton.

Because a sealed box doesn't have a port and doesn't have a tuning frequency, the backpressure is always there. So you don't need a subsonic

You don't need a tuning frequency because you don't have one.

Your box is sealed, which means it doesn't have a port. And your tuning frequency is based on the port. No port = no tuning. Make sense?

It's a sealed box. It should play pretty low. Maybe not loud, but low.
