Cboeger
Do bass boosted songs(NOT THE HEAD UNIT OPTION) give distorted signal to your subs/amp even if your amp is tuned correctly?

SnowDrifter
If the song is clipped, no amount of settings on your deck or amp will fix that. You will get a distorted signal no matter what. If the song is very bass boosted but not clipped and your gain is set too high for the song, you will clip and higher volumes. So it really depends. Lots of the songs you see on youtube that are bass boosted are clipped. Just take a listen - they sound like poo lol ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
