FeelDaBass
I jumped on a used T0D415 15" and was waiting for an opportunity to build a box for it after that. I asked Rockford if their coils were normally black, and they said it happens...so I wasn't too worried about this. It is pretty solid black though.. On to the box! I didn't have any designs of my own really because I didn't know how this sub would sound and whatnot...so I went with Rockford's "high output" box. I ran out of screws...made them too close together in the first place...so I decided to go every other one. But here is the final project. The sub was dual 4 ohm and I didn't want to overpower it with the amp, so I hooked it up to 8 ohms off the T1500. This thing still slammed! It hit way lower than my 12s did and sounded really nice! Only bad part was it lacked in the upper frequencies compared to the 12s. Such as 60hz was just a "fair" volume, but under that to about 34hz was really nice. Below that it got pretty sloppy and unloaded. FeelDaBass
Looks nice my friend has a sebring kinda simular to urs and was pondering the thought of some 12's in it I would say it's well worth it. I'm pretty sure Sebrings sound fairly nice if I remember correctly, but Concorde's have literally no bass. Stock that is. It was terrible. But I had subs before I had the car, so it wasn't a hard decision to put them in.. Lol. FeelDaBass
It looks a lot better than my first build haha! Haha, thank you! Since it looks like you've been on this site for awhile...what counts as a build? Am I displaying more than one build technically? I mean if I switch boxes out, and everything...does this still count as one build? I was considering it that way anyway.. CNF Kevosinn
Id say if its in the same car its one build. some people on here have 100 plus pages on one "build" haha they are like me and are never really finished *** SuperSeller Status Verified *** ( http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers/ ) "kevosinn's" astro van 8 custom Sundown Zv4 18's 4 Sundown scv 6000's CNF Distribution CNC parts Skyhigh wire some batteries SMD Meters and tools used on the installhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172877-kevosinns-vanwest-coast-skyhigh-car-audio-vehicle/ 16,000 watt walled silverado build.http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161965-walled-silverado-4-hdc4-15s-4-crescendo-3500s-and-much-more/ 8,000 watt 1999 Subaru legacy outback. FeelDaBass
That's awesome. I don't think I'll ever be donw with this build until I wall it...which is something I really want to do. I just don't have the $$$ to upgrade everything. Closest I could do is buy two more T1D215s and make a 3 15" wall wired to 1.33 ohms on my T1500...but that's a ways down the road. I too will then be at 100 pages haha I forgot to post a couple videos of what the "high output" box could do and as you will see on the next page...I switched the T0D415 out with the T1D215 in the same box, so here you go: '98 Chrysler Concorde LXiPioneer DEH-80PRS (HU/processing)Rockford Fosgate T1652-S (components) for frontRockford Fosgate T1693 (6x9s) for rearRockford Fosgate T600-4 running thoseRockford Fosgate T1500-1bdCP running a Rockford Fosgate T1D215 15"in a 3.1 cu ft. net tuned to 34 hz (firing in cabin)Kicker PKD1 (0 & 4 AWG)stock 130 amp alt for now; One yellow top OptimaInstalled everything myself & built box (brother helped) Used a DD-1 to set gains.
