SnowDrifter
I have a d1400 in my car right now. I normally try to charge my batteries once a week at leastMy issue is that my 4 channel will protect at 16.3v, but the charger will charge at 16.6v. And I'm not familiar with what happens internally when an amp is turned off - like where it cuts the power. So that begs the question: Do I need to disconnect my battery every time I charge it or will the amp be safe because it's "off"? ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Lbox88
If the car is powered off while charging, thus the amp is off and not receiving a signal from a remote turn on, you should be fine. UBL | Build Log
