Right now I have a 240 amp alt a duralast plat under hood and a kinetik 1400 in rear with a 2f rockford cap I'm running a dd m2b and a jl hd 600/4 ..on my bass heavy music I still get voltage drops that sometimes protect my amps I ordered 2 more kinetik 1400s..should I keep the cap or ditch it? And why?

the best way to check if u need a cap or no is plugging the Volt Meter to amp pos and neg inputs with and without the cap and see the difference !

sometimes Loud is NOT pretty

Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.

Have you had a chance to clamp your alt? Just to be sure it's putting out as much as you think?
