Omega5002 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 n8ball I think I'm gonna invest in an SPL meter like an spl labs Although I like the anticipation of seeing my score at a comp I am just tired of shops charging me more and more each time and then making me wait, etc. or come back when they are not busy cos its too loud etc. Yep most definately gettin one. Its a 2nd gen scion xb btw. Also gonna rebuild the box and use psp ports this time instead of home made pvc ports... momofx76 Posted April 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2013 Hi guys - sorry been busy but I thought I would update that I did 147.9 at a MECA spl comp, at the headrest Wow I just went lower now but I suspect its because of the meter location at the headrest... Omega, thats where I messed up. I made the 6" pvc pipe aeroport and flared only the outside :/ I did not mess with it since I'm building a new box (again) and using 6" psp ports this time with the flares Also switching from American Bass HD 15's to DC XL M2 15's .
