bassfreake Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 This isn't really for me but a buddy of mine is wanting to get a system in his work van and is putting spray on bed liner on the floors to make it easy to clean out and he is thinking that would work instead of deadener too... I've never heard of that being used as deadener but I can't think of why it wouldn't serve to at least deaden a little bit... Input? Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. SnowDrifter Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 While it may have some vibration dampening/deadening properties, I wouldn't count on it actually performing as a deadener ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Ben Fultz Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 Won't really work, would be along the lines of Peal & Seal, just mass loading.
Daniel Schneider Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 dynamat is way to expensive. i think google has some alternatives

SnowDrifter Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 dynamat is way to expensive. i think google has some alternatives Like anything in the audio game, you get what you pay for. It's not too expensive when a layer or 2 of deadener will stop you from tearing sheet metal and making your car sound like a bottle full of marbles LOL ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
bassfreake Posted April 12, 2013 Author Report Posted April 12, 2013 Ok cool thanks for the input I'll let my friend know... Not sure he cares but doesn't hurt to try I might at least be able to get him to use real deadener where it'll really matter like doors and maybe wall panels or something Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.
