KYLMDC
I have a 04 Explorer and I wanted to get a box built for it. I want it to get very loud and also be able to hit low notes as well. I don't want to take up all my space in the back hatch. Here is the space I'm willing to use. 46inches wide x 27inches tall x 25inches deep. I also don't know how low it should be tuned. I was hoping the box could have a slot port that face the tailgate while the subs face up. I sure hope this is possible.

AI James
well 41 is max wide unless you do over the fender wells 36 is to deep theres not enoguh room for that and 20 high is almost exact window line so i guess you could go from there
REVOK1NER
Well I don't know if the new body style explorer are any wider but no my old box was 36 deep and it fit and as far as window line that is 17". AI James
04 is a newer body then yours, 20 is actually right at the top of the back seat. 36 imo doesnt give it enough room to play off the hatch.
REVOK1NER
YAh i know that is why I thought it may be wider and yah I agree my box that was 36 deep hit lows really well like 23 HZ was crazy but music sounded like shit. and my hatch window is at 17 and my seat is at 20 but also new explorers may have higher windows i have no idea haha.
