MatthewSladeBrake Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 Both the Kenwood KAC-8105D and Kenwood KAC-9105D are Cea-2006 compliant so with the proper electrical you will see the watts rms that are being claimed. However, it doesn't sound like you have the proper electrical in place. I've gone through two Kenwood KAC-9105D's. They are current hungry, and they have always gotten hot when I've used them.
