not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

i guess I created a helpful thread lol.

and wow, those wires are big difference.

also, good idea to just get a full roll of 25 ft, rather than two 10 so I don't have to piece em together I didn't think about it.

Well i know size matters, but what about strand count?

It is possible for a lower gauge wire with higher strand count to be more conductive then a bigger gauge wire with low strand count?

Strand count is important. The problem is, too many people make up shit to make their wire sound better then others. It might be a higher count but it might be a smaller strand.

It's best IMO to look outside car audio wiring and look into industrial applications.

It would suck to pay a large amound of money for wire to get mostly jacket ;)

With the price of copper car audio companies are using tinned copper or aluminum for power wire as well as lower strand / smaller strand counts to save money.

RockFord Fosgate says that they use less jacket and more copper. They show comparisons to other brand of wire and speaker wire all that time at best buy and etc.

A lot of people don't know or don't care. They think it's all the same.
