Box suggestions for a 10" Type X

Anyone know where the port for this box would be ideal?

So you should just fire it out one of the sides. Make sure you are clear from the sides of the box by the port diameter. So 3" from the sides of the box if you can. If you choose around 10-12 inches of vent length, you're right in the sweet spot for tuning.

I would say sub back port to drivers side.

That's what I would do if you plan on trying to utilize that box. Honestly, what you're attempting is a bandaid. A new box, built to spend would be much better. That's my opinion

OP what amp do you have for the speakers (not the sub) ?

The amp for the speakers is just the factory amp that came with the vehicle, nothing special
