mwjustic
Just food for thought. I ran my re audio xtx5k @.5 for about a year. And i never really had a problem. Until i did. And that problem was frying my amp and costing me money i didnt want to spend. When running at. 5 you have 2 experiences either you fry it or you have a crap ton of electrical and you accept that you still might fry it. 2005 ford explorer xlt limited 4x4 2 xs power d3400s 2 runs of shca mid/ highs- infinity 6x8 3 ways 2 18 ssa icons 2 aq 1200.1 @ 2 ohms 10 cubes tuned to 36 hrz

Hi-Po 5.0
Alrighty time for some catch up pictures. At the beginning of this build i had a Alpine 125bt, that has now been swapped out for a Pioneer deh 6400bt. Here is the volt meter I installed. I know its a cheap one, but it does what I need it to do, and fits perfectly in the dash. That is the voltage after I just shut the car off. Dont worry! And I never showed pictures of my back speakers, partly because they are horible but I figured I better include everything. They are the stock speakers out of my camper trailer, but they sound better (dont sound good, but better than what i had) than the factory speakers that were torn apart and no surround. And here is how i conceal my system in parking lots around town, as my buddy says, "outa sight, outa mind." 1 93' Exploder Deck:Pioneer 6400-bt Front Stage: Crescendo PWX 8"s and Skar Audio VX1-ST per door Amps: Sundown Audio SAZ-3500 v1 @.375 ohm daily, CT Sounds 125.2 Subwoofer: Two PSI Platform 2 18"s,Fully Loaded D1.5's Enclosure: B Pillar Fourth Order, 3:1 ratio tuned at 46 (Designed by Low Hertz Box Designs) Wire: All Sky High Car Audio Cable! WhiteNastyCharger10
Lead by example is what I've always been told.. So if the owner can run 6 amps at .5 ohms a piece, then why not do it yourself. Hi-Po 5.0
NICE build so far man! I dont know if you mentioned it or not but what kind of sub is that? Following** Dont know to much about it, my buddy got it in a trade. He was told its a custom sub, 2k rms, its a dual 1, and this thing is a spl sub not doubt. It kills everything in my explorer. No sound quality at all. But its just a temporary setup untill i can get my vvxs. So i dont mind. 1 93' Exploder Deck:Pioneer 6400-bt Front Stage: Crescendo PWX 8"s and Skar Audio VX1-ST per door Amps: Sundown Audio SAZ-3500 v1 @.375 ohm daily, CT Sounds 125.2 Subwoofer: Two PSI Platform 2 18"s,Fully Loaded D1.5's Enclosure: B Pillar Fourth Order, 3:1 ratio tuned at 46 (Designed by Low Hertz Box Designs) Wire: All Sky High Car Audio Cable!
