How is this going to work? Wiring help?

Im planning on wiring a system in a friends car. four polk audio 6.5's with four crossover boxes (non-adj.), and he has two polk 6x9s in the rear deck. He has a kenwood kac-7204 amp that he has had and was wondering if we could wire into it and power all the speakers from just one amplifier? Would this work coming from the stock deck, and will it still have the adjustability like treble, bass, mid etc. I know it wouldnt have fade and all that.
We were planning to series wire the left side 6.5's together to create a 5.4 ohm impendance then parallel wire it to the left rear 6x9 which is a 4 ohm and get a nominal impedance of 2.35 ohms and wire it to channel 1 on the amplifier. Then do the same to the right side and wire it to channel 2. Each speaker should see about 83w rms. Then on the amplifier turn it on to full range and run a line out converter off the stock head unit? We are also going to put in a sub and amp. Yeah so if anybody has any input on the issue it would be greatly appreciated.

skip the 6x9s? I figure the same thing. They are so far back there you cant hear them that much even if they are fancy 3-4 ways and they are mostly for bass, which the subwoofer will take care of.
2 channel amp
Im thinking he should go with a nice component set of 6.5 up front, do a mid level 6.5 in the rear seat speakers (coupe) and stay stock with the 6x9s? Then he will have a sa-8 in the trunk on a rockford p700
