kl0wn Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 I ran my aq2200 on stock alt (105a) with a kinetik 1400 in place of the stock battery, and a kinetik 2400 as extra. At idle I'd drop into the low 11s. While driving I dropped to low/mid 12s 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
Borris The Blade Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 My bro has two yellow tops (one under the hood and one in the trunk) and a stock alt in 2011 Malibu and the lowest I seen it go was around 12.5. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
Fireitup Posted April 22, 2013 Report Posted April 22, 2013 I have a stock 110 alt in my 2013 forte koup, replaced stock batt with Kenetik HC1800 and have another 1800 in the back and have no problems running my aq at 1 ohm. Lowest i have seen mine drop is 13.
brent379 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Ok so if I ran a d3400 under the hood and even one in the trunk is be fine? Does the 2nd batt pull current from the first one to recharge?? Not sure how that works lol I've never ran extra batts before
