Not really sure what's with the "..." after your posts but it's getting on my nerves. We are trying to help you.

Look on your alternator. Is there lots of black dust on it?

i had this problem on my explorer it was the wire for the regulator not tight enough plugged into the alt had to take it off and pinch it tight to connect. not sure if its the same on hummers. just my 2 cents

no dust or black of any kind, Im going to try and check that snap on connector for the regulator thats the only thing i havent checked. (ok no more ...) sorry

Completely normal. You have an rvc regulator

See here. http://www.duboismarketing.com/pages/article.asp?id=31

is there anyway to bypass this so i can get constant charging?

Send it in to whoever you got your alt from and say you'd like it externally regulated

Edit: Just noticed your alt is a "270a" factory rewound alt. Not really sure what to tell you other than to get a real alt from DC or Mechman lol. Not sure about Mechman, but of the DC lineup I'd suggest an XP series for daily
