I just got the bc5500 yesterday finally , the manual says 1 ground to the batt , where is everyone grounding the the second ground to?

Sheet metal isn't really a good ground since most panels are just tack welded. If enough welds break / come lose you lose your ground.

Ok got it thanks guys I just wanted to make sure before I start making holes, this is my first amp with dual grounds and also my first real big amp

It's not because of the welds. It's because sheet metal in general is shit at carrying current.

Are you talking about the dual grounds on the amp? Ground them to the same place

Yea the amp has dual ground inputs , so I was wondering where was a good place to ground the second ground , was just making sure

if you have a battery in the rear by the amp, ground both the amp grounds to the battery, then run 2 grounds from the battery to the FRAME, sand that shit good, use a bolt and nut, tighen that bitch solid!
