DM4N Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Hi guys, this will probably sound stupid... I have a commodore that im making custom door pods in. After making the pods i realised the speakers look a bit boring by themselves and seeing as i have chosen to coat them in suede instead of leaving them painted im planning on adding another speaker parallel to the pod itself. My question is will i have any huge problems running the 2 speakers at different angles ( one flat and one on the angle as seen ) I'm not looking at spending a fortune as technically im happy with how it sounds now so these are basically just for cosmetics but will function and hopefully add some more mid just wondering if ill get canceling waves or anything stupid like that? I understand it loos cra*py but its my first time with fiberglass or anything so it will get there... I could put screens in the doors instead of more speakers but was thinking of putting some MB Quart ONX216 speakers in it like this. Hope someone can shed some light on this situation Thankyou, Darcy ______________________________________________________________________DJ DM4N ( www.djdm4n.com)Car: 99 Vt Commodore Subs: 2x 12" RE Audio SE series Amps: 1x MB quart Onyx 1600w, 1x MB Quart onyx 4.60 channel Wire/Battery: Dual Batteries, Stock Alternator, 0 Gauge Not much but enough for me
razuuk004 Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 It will Probably be OK but check for clearance behind the panel first before cutting out. Aidan Hansen Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 You should be fine as long as you've got clearance. Things like window regulator and etc. can cause you to have problems with placement and etc. ^Vehicle log to come soon for this.^
