Berries53
What do you think about a dual amp set up? Maybe 2 1500s are 2 1000s? Or would it be more cost efficient to get one bigger amp?

SnowDrifter
You need to get dual 2 if you plan on running separate amps. Dual 4 if you plan on running one big amp. Personally I'd just get the dual 4s and run a single amp. Then you don't have to worry about strapping or trying to gain match/crossover match. For your price range, I'd look in the ~3-4k used amp market. But that really depends on what other batteries you plan on running Having 2-3 group 31s will be a lot different than having 2-3 small batteries ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
