dolarbilz Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 500 RMS watts yo these subs is way to much! 250-300 is more then enough.. If look on Jl website under specification that 500rms put's the sub at the very limit of death.I've ran jl subs not those but trust me 500 watts will kill it.

Well 1st why you trying put more power to them? You want get louder? From 500 to 1000 watts you really want hear much difference.what's your box like? Sealed? Prefab ported? Maybe look into your box if wanting more.if you haven't already. If your going for more out put its fine get a bigger amp .just look at getting more powerful subs...
