Fuse Question

Recommended Posts

Amp I might buy says: requires 4-gauge power and ground leads and a 100-amp fuse and fuse holder — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

Is that the fuse/holder that connects to the battery in the front of the car, or do i need another fuse thats at the end of my power wire that goes through a fuse right before it goes into my amp?

You need both. A fuse block within 18in's of both is the best.

No. You don't.

If you don't have any rear batteries you only need 1 fuse. Put the fuse as close as possible to the battery. I'm not going to say 18". I'm going to say as close as possible
