SnowDrifter Posted May 1, 2013 Report Share Posted May 1, 2013 My alt - or rather my regulator seems to be turning on and off at idle and it's really frustrating me. Sometimes it will cause my 4 channel to go into protect for a split second. I have an externally regulated DCpower 270XPIt only does this when the car is in gear AKA low idle. Not when I'm driving, revving, etc. I can bring the revs up to 1000 in gear at a stop and I won't have the issue. The only time it does this is in gear.Relay is getting power, and the regulator is seeing power. But the regulator intermittently puts out power Any ideas?
