audiofanaticz
did you try to update the drivers using the utility? Otherwise, your going to have to open up your case and find out what motherboard you have, and search elsewere for drivers besides the emachine site.. I know driverguide.com has always been a good resource for drivers. Im not sure if its still setup like it use to be, but you do need to register, but its free. If its still the same, the username is: drivers and the pass is: all

scratchy
If the email I sent doesnt work, try this: 1. The files are extracted to the C:CabsD00445-001-001 folder. 2. From the Start menu, click Run. In the Run dialog box, type: C:CabsD00445-001-001WinXPSetup.exe. Click OK. 3. In the Nvidia Windows XP Driver Setup dialog box, click Next. 4. Files copy. 5. In the Nvidia Windows XP Drivers Setup dialog box, select Yes, I want to restart my computer, and then click Finish. 6. The computer restarts and the video drivers are installed. If that doesnt work, try the following link, its 35 mb but should work: http://downloads.emachines.com/drivers/chi.../K8MC51GMBD.exe then im rambo bitch

scratchy
according too emachines website, the sound drivers are included in the chipset package. It was only a suggestion. Did you try step one as emachines always store the cab files on the hard drive, unless u formated, but I doubt it as your only having the sound problem now. Try finding a driver for the ac 6 channel sound card then im rambo bitch
