LOL dont use that shit. its really difficult to get it to look good and be the same shade on both lenses.

deff not using tint spray...

need suggestions, an tips to Appling on the lights !..

and carbon that's what i got .. got the gun smoke tint..

They make precuts for some models. Others you just buy a sheet.

There are 100s of vids on youtube of people working with it man :good:

fuck vinyl and fuck nightshade, I've had experience with both and having tails painted the right way with black base coat mixed with clearcoat and sprayed with a paint gun, it looks MUCH better.

i used rattlecan tailight tint and it came out like shit...... and i did one too dark so when the sun shines on it you cant see my brakelights..... anyone know how to get it off?

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

My Low Budget Build:

Green 1995 Subaru Legacy wagon 147k- $1K

headunit- pioneer premier deh-p650-$25

4 Lead acid batts. 1 up front and 3 in back- vented outside.- $50

4 vvme L11 10"s <- $30 shipped a piece

6 cu. ft box (after displacment) tuned to 32ish hz with 10 inch sonotube. -about $50 all together maybe a lil more

2 aspm 1300 strapped

Selenium 6"s in the front doors on headunit power- for now -$20

quantum tweets in door-for now -$10

boston acoustic 5 1/4 in rear doors- for now-Free

big 3

1/0 and 4awg throughout.

roof sound deadened (not peel n seal ftw)-free

on 80 amp alt (bench tested to put out 100 amps faithfully) <--?-$10 for test

about $430 for everything<----Not bad at all

still gotta add 3 way crossover, amp for front and rear door speakers and maybe eq

You put it on to thick. I did the same thing.

yea i think im just gunna buff the taillights on the quarter panels ( 500 grit then 800 then wet sand -> 1000 then 3000, then rubbing compound and polish)

but im going to get the lid mounted light painted the same color as the car so it looks like its not there..... should look pretty neat if done right :)

anyways sorry for thread jacking! lol

One last comment, if you wet sand it make sure you remove the lights because when you start sanding it turns the extra tint into a liquid and it will run down and ruin your clear coat.
