My tahoe has 2 battery trays under the hood. right now I have everything hooded up to the original battery. When I wire In the second battery should I move my amp power wire to the other battery or leave It connected where it is? Second question is..... I just ordered the stinger voltage gage. I want to make know what the voltage is on the battery at all times. Does it matter what battery it is hooked up to?

covi1234 Posted May 9, 2013 Author Report Posted May 9, 2013 And that should be fine? The first battery has the altinator and the power wires for the car plus the amp. The second will just be wired in parallel to the first.

WastedTalent Posted May 9, 2013 Report Posted May 9, 2013 how it was explained to me, which i can be wrong, is if you wire in parallel, it essentially becomes one big battery. it's not like you have a huge river with a tiny stream or whatnot. it just adds to the river making it even bigger. So whatever is hooked to one, is essentially hooked to both. ESSENTIALLY. But that's the way i understood it and was explained to me. I can be wrong. Sheena = pedobear
