Pokey Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 Ok...wasn't sure. I know about 90% of the time subs will hold more than the advertised RMS power...but I wasn't sure how much on the Fi Q 12's. I'll find out if my Fusion NV-12 rated at 1000RMS can hold 1600RMS once my new amp gets here. Hopefully the guy can send it this week. Quote
AI James Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 yea a Q with a Hifonics 1606 if you cant find a better amp will be fine Quote
Pokey Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 Well I'm sure I could find a better amp, but with the HU going for $1300, the sub at $259, the box about $150, wiring at $100, the amp around $240. That's a lil over $2000 already. This way he has a lil extra to work with if he wants anything else. Quote
AI James Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 whats wrong with a AVIC N2 off ebay, not much diff in the 2 units Quote
Pokey Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 Nothing that I know of...Just didn't see one. I'd go with an N-2. Remember how much it was?? Quote
ChevyBoy Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 refurb is ~700 new is ~1,050 for the avic-n2 Quote
AI James Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 refurb is good enough for me on those things lol Quote
ChevyBoy Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 except for when it stops half way out lol Quote
AI James Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 same damn thing can happen with a new one. usually refurbs are ones that were fucked in the first place so theres about the same chance imo Quote
