Krakin
Find you max dimensions: height, width, and both depths. As in how big you can have the box with a slant from base to the top such as this. Also will need to know what kind of power you are running to it with what Ohm load it is wired to. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. Joe X
So here is a suggestion Sub front/ port side: Enclosure Specifications:Fb = 34.3 HzVb = 2.1 ft^3External Height = 18 inExternal Width = 48 inExternal Depth = 10 in 72.3 deg.External Depth2 = 4.25 in 72.3 deg.Cut Sheet List:* All Dimensions in Inches.* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.External Enclosure Parts:Front = 17 5/16 x 48 (top/botton cuts: 17.7 deg.)Top = 4 1/4 , 4 1/2 x 48Bottom = 10 , 9 3/4 x 48Back = 16 1/2 x 48Left & Right Sides =Top = 3 15/16Bottom = 8 1/4Back = 16 1/2Front = 17 5/16Port Quantity and Dimensions:Number of Ports = 3Pipe Port Diameter = 3Pipe Port Length = 21 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Parts reference: Important notes:- All boxes built outside the vehicle need to fit in their way in not just have the right dimensions.- The port needs 6" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested. vanno79
Thank jou and krakin just that I like to put 2 kicker cvr 12 dual 4 ohms would equal the same box or change thanks for your help
Joe X
It would need to have twice as much volume if you wanted two, you don't have the space for that on the given dimensions.
vanno79
Ok and if I put a woofer orion HCCA 122 12 dual 2ohms
98GCLimited
As long as your mounting depth isnt too deep for the box.
vanno79
so do you recommend me use my woofer cvr12 with the box that you recommended? Or if I'll do a seal box could be able to put my two woofer cvr12 and what will be the mesures for this? Or do ylu think with this box and the three ports is enough for my truck?
