long term electrical issue

Try hooking up your amp with someone else's electrical. Go get like 8 feet of each power and ground and find someone close with beefy electrical, swap out those wires and then turn it up.... That will isolate your amp from your car, batteries and alternator. If it still drops crazy its a hungry amp, if not keep looking for the answer in your jeep

Another dumb question, do you have anything in line of the alternator plug? Like a voltage boost module? If so maybe that's throwing it off? Or the sense wire is in the wrong spot? (just throwing ideas, tell me to stop at any time haha)

With a self exciting alternator, all that plugs into the alt is the oem power wire (plus i have the big 4 done) and then ground (which is with 0g wire). There is no harness for this jeep...it is a "plug and play" 1 wire alternator

there is the oem regulation "black box" that is no longer hooked up to the alt, it just lays to the side covered up with electrical tape so that it doesn't ground out to anything

Have you measured the resistance of all your in-line fuses? plz do if you haven't done this yet.

That's what makes me wonder if in fact it is the jeeps themselves..either computer or sosomething that is somehow overriding our extra voltage and amps from the alt....
