I'm aiming for some SQ, but I heard people say 6x9's aren't the best options when you look for SQ. As they will play free air, I don't think I have much other options. Is anyone here running the JL Audio C2-690tx coaxials? Are they able to do some decent SQ? I live in the Netherlands, so unfortunately not all the brands that are discusses on this forum are available in my country.

I'd at least worry about the front stage first. What do you have up front? A good pair of components will go a long way. *New vehicle and system coming soon.*

Just my 2c, but in my truck, ditching the rear speakers and running only a front stage was much better.
