Yeah, I've been reading the same 12 pages of Virginia Woolf for the past week, and I still can't comprehend it enough to write a 5-page analysis to the 5 challenges given. It's worth 5% of our grade. That's about all thats been happening.

Those gen ed credits are the absolute worst. Nothing like having to fill ridiculous amounts of credit hours on classes that don't pertain to your major, strengths, or potential profession. Why are they having you take such a strong english class as a biomed engineer? Strong liberal arts school? Otherwise really cool project. I hope everything turns out perfectly.

That's what I'm saying. I got a 5 on the AP english junior & senior year, so I was able to skip english 105 &112, so 114 is the highest english a freshmen can take, and it's all sophs and juniors who have familiar college work styles. So all my papers have been very highschoolesque-formatted for obvious reasons, and thankfully he isn't docking me points since I'm the only freshman in the class, but he has me re-work each paper to format it more like everyone else's paper. It's not a strong liberal arts school either, seems like everyone wants to do something in science/medicine, and they know it, but the core requirements apply to everyone for a reason I guess.
