Brandon15zzz Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 I would screw the face(if you mean baffle) on. Also adding like 3/4" to the port shouldn't change its tuning by much. So I wouldn't worry bout it. Brandon15zzz Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Yea. It will lower so I still wouldn't worry about it unless your already tuned super low. My box is tuned at like 42. But I added 2x4's width which lowered it I think. Idk IH8PunkRok deals with all my boxes and math lol. Im talking more about the uneven port length it would cause??
OrionStang Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 You can make it the size of the entire box, covering the port. Then, cut out the opening for the port. Leaves you with a single solid baffle and uniform port depth. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Brandon15zzz Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Yes I added my double baffle to the front then used a router to cut the port and holes.
