what mistakes did you guys make when you installed your first system???

Mines was not using 0ga wire for future installs.. And bad ground wire.. Amp would shut off on high levels cuz of bad ground

For me it was bad grounds, thinking gain on the amp was just a volume knob, mounting the amp straight to prefabbed boxes and then not securing that box to anything in my trunk so it slid around, and not fusing power cables. I was 17 at the time and I just wanted bass.

wired a Pyramid Phase III amp to my fuze box.lol With speaker wire!

The only mistake I made was using cheap RCAs. I had loud, annoying alternator/engine whine... Fuckin Knu Karma SS..
