But many quality ones actually tend to ride stiffer than stock.. less travel. So you honestly think lowering springs are a better option than a coilover with a shock designed for the height.. when you consider the price, yes. The sportlines on my focus have been absolutely awesome. when it's time for struts it helps to upgrade (you may need them now anyway) but that's something you will have to replace anyway. for the average driver with occasional track time, springs will be good. if you want a track car then grab some high end coilovers. NO EBAY crap will do it for anybody though. He said he doesn't wanna spend a ton of money, does that mean you're gonna buy them for him? 95legwagon Posted June 7, 2013 Report Share Posted June 7, 2013 honestly cheapest option would be wrx struts and springs. should lower it about an inch.....make sure you get them for a sedan though and not a hatch. alot of of subaru guys do it. should bolt right up ( get an alignment afterwards) also saab 9-2x struts n springs are the same as wrx ones. i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
