Sundown Audio

So I was talking to a friend of mine who had an SA-8 that he said stopped working. He said that the leads were really frayed, which they are, and that that's why it didn't work. Anyways I took a shot in the dark and bought it for $15 thinking what the hell. Got home and hooked it up to my home stereo and sure enough it didn't play. Neither coil read anything OHMs wise.

So what should I do? Should I recone it? or is there something easier to do?

He also had a Boss amp on it. That had to cause something bad. lol

Do I just email Sundown to get a recone? Or will someone on here see this and chime in?

Recones for the sa8 are dirt cheap. Just recone it. Probably be 40 bucks including the cost of glue

Sweet. So what's the best way to get one? Direct from sundown?
