Avery Howell
So I was talking to a friend of mine who had an SA-8 that he said stopped working. He said that the leads were really frayed, which they are, and that that's why it didn't work. Anyways I took a shot in the dark and bought it for $15 thinking what the hell. Got home and hooked it up to my home stereo and sure enough it didn't play. Neither coil read anything OHMs wise. So what should I do? Should I recone it? or is there something easier to do? SnowDrifter
Recones for the sa8 are dirt cheap. Just recone it. Probably be 40 bucks including the cost of glue Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
