Need help with SPL enclosure for 2 12" subs

Good Day ALL

I need help with an enclosure for two 12" Starsound Subwoofers. I want to compete in SPL events, any suggestions on design, tuning, port type would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Subs are 1.5ohm dvc 1000w rms

Amplifier is 3000rms Starsound D7000

I have 3 NSB 170AH batteries

0 gauge cable with big 3

Vehicle is a Toyota tazz Hatch ( resonant freq is 47-49hz ) Maximum trunk size is 16x38x18inch

have you tried what works better? im talking about port and subs direction, subs up/port up always work great on hatchbacks, i would start with maybe 3.2 cubic feet and a 8" aeroport on the middle of the 2 subs, do you have a meter to work with and test? without it, you are blind!

  • yes I do have a meter,what should I tune the box to.
