On a side note and serious thread jack, Kyle, go look at my port in my blowthrough thread please, it's got a purty mouth... Sorry OP, HAD to be done. You need to gain match you gain pot with the PREout voltage if your HU. Which head unit are you running currently. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

CleanSierra Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 The punch eq is basically bass boost at 45 Hz. The infasonic is your subsonic filter which engages at 28 Hz. CleanSierra Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 So to break it down better, here we go: Bass boost which is punch eq, needs to stay down our barely up. It only boosts frequencies at 45 Hz. Infrasonic is your subsonic filter and Fosgate has that preset at 28 Hz. You engage that switch, it should be basically an on/off type of switch, and it either engages the filter do nothing below 28 Hz plays, you turn it off and all frequencies will pass through to the subs. Lastly is your frequency eq. This dial is for you to engage your low pass filter. Basically where you set it will determine where you want your subs to STOP playing. That would be right about the frequency that your mids take over. These dials and switches don't exactly turn off the frequency COMPLETELY, IT DOES HAVE A ROLL off of, I'm not sure. So it's not like at EXACTLY 28 Hz, the subsonic shuts your subs off, there is a roll off. It will basically start making the following few Hz quieter and quieter.
