1500.1BDcp x2 wiring options/help?

I have two T1500.1BDcp's and I have two subs.

Now I'm wondering a few things.

-I want to hook up the subs up so that their is one sub per amp. I will NOT be using BDsync mode.

-I want to know if I can bridge the sub up to the amp. (Positive on left channel and negative on the right channel, or vice versa.)

Their is a very large difference in the output on the amplifiers. My first amp I got puts out 1850 @ 1omh, but the Second amp puts out about 1600 @ 1 omh.

If I was to hook the Amps up in BDsync, I would have to run the subs at 2 ohms, and I'm just wondering what I should do. Overheating should not be much of a problem cause I'm in the process of building a amp rack and cooling for the amps..

I'd like to know what you guys think would be the best idea for me. The subs do.. 2000 RMS I think, so I'm not that worried. The box says 3500 MAX, but that's not the RMS. If you want to get the for sure RMS, check out my "Garage" and click the 01 Tiburon.

Thanks ahead of time!

I'll post a picture of what I mean when I get home in a few hours.. Maybe I'm just wording it wrong.

Like that, but "Positive on left channel and negative on the right channel, or vice versa."

I have two T1500.1BDcp's and I have two subs. What impedance are the subs? Are they SVC or DVC?

Now I'm wondering a few things.

-I want to hook up the subs up so that their is one sub per amp. I will NOT be using BDsync mode. Good, becaue you cant anyway. Thats only for T2500s.

-I want to know if I can bridge the sub up to the amp. (Positive on left channel and negative on the right channel, or vice versa.) No, the amps are monoblocks (1 channel)

Their is a very large difference in the output on the amplifiers. My first amp I got puts out 1850 @ 1omh, but the Second amp puts out about 1600 @ 1 omh. How are you tuning the amps? I would set each amp to its highest non clipped power output. Turn down whatever amp is more powerful to match the less powerful amp.

If I was to hook the Amps up in BDsync, I would have to run the subs at 2 ohms, and I'm just wondering what I should do. Overheating should not be much of a problem cause I'm in the process of building a amp rack and cooling for the amps.. Not possible

You got it B)

Great answer hdorre.

Ti sumup what he said, just write each sub to it's own amp.

Since each sub is on it's own amp it really doesn't matter if the amps have different outputs. You cab gain match them but it isn't exactly something that has to be done. Now if they aren't moving the same and in a single chamber box gain matching could fix that since it would be best if they work together so that they aren't working against each other.

the subs you have pioneer ts-w3002d4 are a dual 4 ohm subwoofer. they can only handle 1000 watts rms. so you would be over powering them with those amps. if you were to run them at 1 ohm. but you can't since you can only wire 1 sub down to 2 ohm final load. by wiring them in parallel. that is I found out real quick by looking up the subs you have.

I didn't notice the thread was from June, it's dead...., lol

To answer your question about the output of a t1500.1bdcp constant power!

It's 1500rms just like at 1 ohm. The numbers he posted was from a birth sheet and that doesn't mean it will do it in the real world.

also t1500.1bdcp can not be strapped unless using something like a maxx link.

with constant power, amp does power (1500) at both 2 or 1 ohm. just put 1 amp per sub and your set. maybe use a cc1 to try match output of the amps.
