But thats just because I wouldn't want them on all of the time if I'm not looking at them or what they're lighting I'm going to actually put some in the trunk specifically for my trunk/dome lights... Wood Posted October 23, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2015 So I reached out to Andrew yesterday and I now have some spare decals on the way, which means It's time to remove the plaques for some color matching Also between yesterday and today I been thinking heavily on how I want to power my LEDS behind the amp rack... Well I got it!! Since the actual rack itself wont be seen, I decided I will purchase some switches like so: And tap into the frame, specifically the mounting leg, to mount the switch. The power and the ground supplying the switch will be ran from the power and ground of the amp... So all in all, the switch and wiring will be hidden behind the frame and I'll have full control over them being powered on.. which will most likely only happen at car/audio shows!! I'll be selling my 3 10s and enclosure this weekend and are starting on the next journey!! Before I decided to even think about subs, I needed my electrical to be STOUT since I know my amp has a lot of more potential in it (gains were set conservative due to me overpowering my current subs double the rms they are rated), along with me being wired to .67... With that being said, I got this baby beast!! I'll be having my teammate start my enclosure this week and I'll be pulling wire to re run my them and start my amp/battery rack build!! I plan for everything to be in the spare tire well so the only thing that'll be seen is my enclosure... going for the super clean look and with the freed up space, it'll actually still be partially functional!! Lastly, I'm going to yank the upholstery off my doors and redo the body work.. I built them in 2 days with only 15min of body work per door, so I'm going back to make them perfect!! Also thinking about going ahead and adding grill cloth to them.. It may not sound like a lot going into this rebuild, but it'll be huge in appeal and performance!!
