Alright, Remember that "Disclosed Location" I told ya'll I was running my speaker wires to? Well here we go..... ;)

I mounted the paasive crossovers in my Glove Compartment.... All holes drilled, Terminals Crimped and Heat Shrunk! The reason for location was to eliminate vibration in comparison to them being mounted in the door... So I wont have to worry about the mounts falling in my doors or the constant opening and closing of the doors to knock any components loose inside the passive crossover itself!! ;)

Damn Ya'll A TUFF Crowd LOL

So this is where I'm at in my build, I am currently working on the box build which I'm about to show updates... Right now I'm in the Primer stage getting ready to sand for color. It's a certain way that I'm doing my box so I can get a Nice Finish where the port will match my Car Base Color and I will carpet the enclosure to match the trunk carpet... This is the most extensive part of my build right now but I'm looking to have it done by Thur. or Friday so I can have it playing in time for the Turkey Drag this weekend ;)

Also I have to Fuse and Solder My Two Power Wires Along with installing my Amps which I will do once the box is complete... No need for me to have powering amps running nothing so I will install them as I Finish the box. The wires are already ran so installing them shouldn't take no time!

I ordered some SHCA 0ga OFC for Black Friday so When that come in I'll be installing my Singer Alternator Also :D

So Hopefully I can have the box Done By Wed So I can let it Fully cure for 24hrs and Install it Thurs. Along with the amps and Alternator... After That, I'LL BE FINALLY PLAYING!!!!! B-)

Here we go... The Last that I have of my updates..... Box Build!!!!

Went to Home Depot and got the wood cut, and I must say its convient, BUT They SUCK at making measurements... not to mention their blade was crooked so I had to put a flush trim bit on my router to make the edges even... So far everything Is coming out great! Its my first time wood working!. But with Time patience and Scrap pieces, I picked up on it quick!!! ;) Alright, Enough Yappin' On to some pics!!

20131118_132410_zps0d1902e9.jpg

Heres After All the edges were routed and I was Gluing the sides and back piece.... And yes I'm doing this on my aparment floor LOL!! Walmart bags do come in handy!!

20131124_145927_zps71ad813c.jpg

Glued and Screwed! And as you see, All edges flush with a nice 1/8th roundover.. not a big round over just something to make the edges look nice :)

20131126_182030_zps132d29d7.jpg

Port edges rounded over with a 1/4" round over bit! So I Should Have nice flow with no port noise!

20131126_182051_zps41b7761d.jpg

Here is the front baffle's with the center port 1/4" round over'd! If you look close you can see where there is a little "lift" on the left baffle from Home Depot uneven cuts smh... I'll be addressing that later

20131126_182325_zps1267dc11.jpg

And here it is! Made a Little carpenters putty to seal that gap from the previous picture. Also I sealed the the edges of the MDF so when I paint it, I wont have to worry about the pores soaking the paint in. So with the seal the sides will have the same quality paint as the top of MDF. Just an extra step took because I want the Port to have a Nice color matched finish to it and not just a rushed paint job! But anyways here's what it looked like after applying the carpenters putty

After A Night of Primer and sanding, Sanding and Primer... I was able to give the port a "Seamless" Transition in which I am now at the primer and final sanding stage before I start apply the color matched paint! ;)
