Markous Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 Here is my situation SMD'ers Going on a weeklong camping trip starting on the 17th and i have a question i was not able to find an answer for with the search. Probably won't need to do this but incase the situation arrises i would like to know what to do. Going to be playing music at low volume with the engine off for tunes to listen to around the campfire. If i happen to need a boost is ok to use a SLA battery to give my AGM a charge long enough to start my vehicle? If it is not advisable i will just be carefull to start it say once every couple of hours for 15-20 minutes. Thank you for any input you might have to share. That could decrease the life of the batt, just keep an eye on that voltage. I'll take it with me but as a reminder to not to have to use it. This is the local area, red circles the campsites and the red spot on the right is where the pic was taken in OP.
