momofx76
LOL thats why I was trying to see if I could find people who actually used it. I have had great success with the older Onyx series on my highs so I was wondering if this would be better for my mids / mid bass. Price is pretty good as well... and I like that its smaller. Class sq? That sounds far too much like some gimmicky marketing term... Anyone shed some light?
fyerbyrd22
i love the terminals and the heatsink design...but like I said, with every mb quart amp ive ran (4 different models) all have gotten hot personal build in progress http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188656-2013-kia-sorento-6-12-no-wall/ www.facebook.com/TurbulentDesigns
purplesyrup
It does look like a nice amp, but a class D and at that for mids and highs should not be getting the least bit warm in my opinion. This likely means they are not using the highest quality components internally

mrd6
The fusing seems small compared to the power they are supposed to put out. For example my MB Quart Q4.80 is rated at 480rms at 2ohms all channels and has 80 amps of fusing. The new RA that is rated around the same power only has 40 amps of fusing... I also dont like how they bridge in MONO rather than stereo. My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL
