LOL thats why I was trying to see if I could find people who actually used it. I have had great success with the older Onyx series on my highs so I was wondering if this would be better for my mids / mid bass. Price is pretty good as well... and I like that its smaller.

Class sq?

That sounds far too much like some gimmicky marketing term...

Anyone shed some light?

It does look like a nice amp, but a class D and at that for mids and highs should not be getting the least bit warm in my opinion.

This likely means they are not using the highest quality components internally

The RA 640.4 is class ab, their Mykro line is class d

i love this sh--t man 1966 Ford Fairlane Pioneer prs 80, the big three, with 2 big azz agm batts, dual 270/200 amp alts , two 8'' mids and tweets in the kick( PPI phantom 600.2). two 10''s and tweets in the doors, two 10'' mids and tweets in the rear decK ( Lanar opti 500x2). 2 C2 Audio Threatcon 4 12s on a Crunch GP3000d. The fusing seems small compared to the power they are supposed to put out. For example my MB Quart Q4.80 is rated at 480rms at 2ohms all channels and has 80 amps of fusing. The new RA that is rated around the same power only has 40 amps of fusing...

I also dont like how they bridge in MONO rather than stereo.
