CommonSyns
I'm in the market for a cheap HTIB but the problem is I don't know what brand to look for or anything to look for that matter. I'm not looking for a pieced together system just a simple good one that is already pre-assembele. I just need it to play the audio formats for the following systems, Wii U, Ps3, Ps4 (When it comes out). Suggestions would be forever helpful. Budget would be like $400. Skar Audio SDR 10" x2 (Sealed Box) Skar Audio 1500.1D (1 Ohm) x1 Skar Audio TX525c (Front with dash tweeter) x1 Kenwood Excelon KFC-X173 (Rear Coax) x1 JL Audio 360.4 (Mids & Highs Amp) x1 DEH80-PRS XS Power d3400 Singer Alternator 275A 98 Jeep TJ 4.0 5 Speed
Justin248
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882120200 The onkyo receiver that I have has a really good sound. The onkyo speakers I have heard of one similar (much older tho) were really good for being a HTIB. Personally I do not like the HTIB, but in the case of onkyo and a few others, they have an actual receiver not some piece of junk the size of a dvd player claiming 1000+ watts. Plus with 4 hdmi inputs, 6 rca inputs, 2 optical, and one coaxial you have more than enough options to run audio to this.
CommonSyns
Would you suggest a 5.1 or a 7.1 system? I looked into the onkyo and there is apparently 2 of them that would fit my budget, the s3500 and the s3400, that would fit in my budget, Not sure why the price difference though. I'll have to find out why its like that.
