Burnt Coils?

Recommended Posts

So I will not lie. I beat the shit out of this BL everyday with about 1600 watts continuously. I'm sure the signal is not the cleanest either, but after a month of slamming, I took it out and the only bad thing is the spider has a hole worn in it from tinsel slap. Now the coils do look a bit... off color. Is there a way to tell by looking at your coils if its beginning to burn? I don't exactly know how the process of blowing a sub works, if it gradually does it or it just blows at once, but here are some pictures, you tell me.
