Cazz
my subs are only rated 75-350W, so does this mean a Rockford Fosgate 1501BD wont blow it if the gain is set right, i was told that would blow it
Krakin
Just seeing what fits the budget right now not what is available. Just remember you get what you pay for. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-yfT49niShOs/p_113KAC9105/Kenwood-KAC-9105D.html (do a bit of searching bet you can find it for less) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_25132_Rockford-Fosgate-T1000-1bdCP.html (slightly overbudget but you get 1k @ 2-ohm) Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. bassfreake
i can get that kenwood cheap is kenwood true RMS? not in my experience but I've only tried one and it technically did say in small print that it was a 300w rms even though it advertised 1000 Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. Krakin
i can get that kenwood cheap is kenwood true RMS? I run it and so do a few other members. I haven't clamped it but I think I saw another member do it and got around 800w+. I like it cheap little amp that has some big kick with it. But I will warn you that after excessive use and after it gets hot (for a kenwood) it will kind of fade in and out of the bass notes. A strong electrical for the amp helps a lot but doesn't always fix the problem.
